DIRECTIONS
The Champaign County Municipal Court is at 205 S. Main Street, P.O. Box 67 in Urbana, Ohio. It sits on the southeast corner of the intersection of Market and Main streets.
Urbana is located 12 miles north of Springfield and 12 miles south of Bellefontaine on State Route 68.
If you are traveling north on State Route 68 (Main Street), the Court is located on the right side at the intersection of Market and Main streets (almost downtown).
If you are traveling south on State Route 68 (Main Street), the Court is located one block south of the Square, on the left side, at the intersection of Market and Main streets.
State Route 36 runs east/west through Urbana. If you are traveling east on State Route 36, it turns into Miami Street as you enter Urbana. Continue eastbound on Miami Street into the center of town, also known as the “Square.” Turn right at the “Square” and the Court is located one block south of the Square, on the left side (southeast corner), at the intersection of Market and Main streets.
If you are traveling west on State Route 36 or State Route 29, these routes become Scioto Street as you enter Urbana. Continue westbound on Scioto Street into the center of town, also known as the “Square.” Turn left at the “Square” onto Main Street and the Court is located one block south of the Square, on the left, at the intersection of Market and Main streets.
Free public parking is located on Market Street east of the Court facility or north of the Court facility across from the Urbana Fire Department.
HOURS
Arraignments are held in the traffic and criminal division of the Champaign County Municipal Court on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays at 9:00 a.m.
Pretrials, trials to the Court, and motion hearings in the Traffic and Criminal Division were usually held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Wednesday and until 12:00 Noon on Friday.
Jury Trials are normally held on Thursdays beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Civil and Small Claims cases are heard on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
